Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have reportedly killed a police inspector and seven other people in an attack in Adamawa State.

The attack, according to reports, occurred in the state as the suspected terrorists targeted residents and security personnel.
Among those killed was a police inspector, further raising concerns over the growing security challenges confronting communities in the affected area.
Several residents were reportedly thrown into panic following the attack, while security operatives moved to the area to restore calm and prevent further attacks.
The latest incident comes amid continued efforts by security agencies to combat insurgency and other forms of criminality in parts of the North-East.
Authorities are expected to intensify security operations in the affected communities and work to track down those responsible for the attack.
