The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, making them available for candidates nationwide.
The examination body announced the release on Wednesday through its official communication channels, directing candidates to generate a Personal Identification Number (PIN) on the WAEC portal before accessing their results on the official result-checking website.
According to WAEC, a total of 1,950,726 candidates sat for the 2026 WASSCE, while 1,200,514 candidates, representing 61.54 percent, obtained credits in at least five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates are required to generate their PIN and serial number on the official WAEC platform before logging into the result portal with their examination number and other required details to view their performance.
The 2026 WASSCE was conducted between April 21 and June 19, 2026, with approximately 1.96 million candidates from over 24,000 secondary schools participating across Nigeria.
