Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee is reportedly currently being held on remand in a UK prison, according to an X user, @Oluomoofderby.
“I can confirm that the reports are true. Poco Lee is currently on remand in a UK prison,” the X user said.
According to the post, Poco Lee’s next court appearance is scheduled for the second week of September, when he is expected to have a plea hearing. At the hearing, he would typically enter either a guilty or not-guilty plea.
The X user also said he plans to attend the court proceedings as part of his support for the Nigerian community in the UK.
He added that supporting Nigerians facing difficult circumstances is something he does regularly, including visiting members of the community who are currently in prison.
The development comes amid reports concerning Poco Lee and an alleged offence in the UK. However, the allegations have not been proven in court.
The X user urged the public to allow the legal process to take its course, stressing that everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
