Former Osun State Governor and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has called on All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
Oyetola made the call after joining APC members in Boripe Local Government Area for their weekly meeting.
Addressing party members, the former governor urged them to strengthen campaign efforts for the APC candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), across all wards and communities in the state.

He expressed confidence in the party’s chances, stating that no amount of political criticism would prevent the APC from securing victory if the election is conducted in a free and fair manner.
Oyetola also encouraged party members to remain united, focused, and committed, stressing that effective grassroots engagement would be key to delivering success for the APC candidate.
Party leaders, stakeholders, and members at the meeting reaffirmed their support for the APC flagbearer and pledged to intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of the poll.
