Former Osun State Deputy Governor and ex-National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Iyiola Omisore, has pledged his full support for the party’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of Sunday’s governorship election in the state.

Omisore made the commitment on Friday when he hosted the Governor of Ekiti State, Abiodun Oyebanji, and his Kogi State counterpart, Ahmed Usman Ododo, at his residence in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The meeting was part of a series of strategic engagements by APC governors and other party leaders with key stakeholders ahead of the election.
During the visit, the leaders reportedly discussed strategies aimed at strengthening the APC’s chances at the polls and mobilising support for Oyebamiji.
Omisore’s declaration of support is expected to further boost the APC candidate’s campaign as the party intensifies efforts to reclaim political influence in Osun State.
The engagement also underscores the APC leadership’s push for greater unity among party stakeholders as the election approaches.
With voting scheduled for Sunday, political parties have stepped up their final mobilisation efforts, while their candidates and supporters continue to canvass for votes across the state.
