Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has opened up on compatriot Ousmane Dembele winning the 2025 Ballon d’Or ahead of him.
Despite being regarded as the bigger star during their time together at Paris Saint-Germain, Mbappé said he feels no jealousy over Dembele’s achievement.
He noted that the pair have had different career journeys, with Dembele overcoming injuries and difficult periods before reaching the pinnacle of football.
Mbappé said Dembele had always been regarded as a highly talented player, while he was viewed as “the chosen one” and reached the highest level very early in his career.
He added that Dembele’s return to the top after his struggles was “incredible.”
