Nigeria delivered an impressive second-half performance, with Queen Joseph opening the scoring in the 56th minute before Awawu Bashiru extended the advantage in the 71st minute.
Bashiru completed her brace in the 80th minute to give Nigeria a commanding 3-0 lead, while Brazil scored a late consolation goal through Greise Kelly in the 89th minute.
Their opponents, Japan, secured their place in the final after defeating defending champions North Korea on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
Today’s encounter presents another opportunity for the Flamingos to make history by becoming the first African team to win the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian girls will also be aiming to reward their impressive tournament campaign with the ultimate prize as they represent the country and the African continent on the global stage.
With both teams seeking the championship title, attention will now turn to Rabat as Nigeria chase a historic triumph against the Japanese side.
