Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has declared that the people of the state will reward President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with overwhelming support in the 2027 presidential election in appreciation of what he described as the President’s commitment to the development of Ekiti State.

Speaking on Monday in Ado Ekiti during the inauguration of the Ayodele Fayose Lodge, a newly constructed building within the Government House complex named after former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, Oyebanji said Tinubu’s administration has consistently demonstrated goodwill towards the state.

The governor attributed his confidence to what he described as the Federal Government’s increased financial support to Ekiti, ongoing infrastructure projects and the appointment of several qualified Ekiti indigenes into strategic positions in the Tinubu administration.

Oyebanji maintained that the people of Ekiti have not taken the President’s support for granted and would express their appreciation through the ballot box in the next presidential election.

He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining good governance, unity and inclusive development, stressing that the state’s progress is anchored on collaboration across political divides.

The inauguration of the Ayodele Fayose Lodge was attended by political leaders, government officials and other dignitaries, with the governor describing the facility as part of efforts to improve infrastructure within the Government House.
