
Former Manchester United midfielder Casemiro endured a disappointing first home appearance for Inter Miami, scoring an own goal in the club’s 2-2 draw against Columbus Crew in a Major League Soccer (MLS) fixture on Saturday.
The Brazilian, who joined Inter Miami on a free transfer after his Manchester United contract expired at the end of the 2025–26 Premier League season, experienced a frustrating outing despite his side earning a point.
Casemiro’s unfortunate own goal proved to be a major talking point in an eventful contest, overshadowing what was expected to be a memorable home debut for the experienced midfielder. Despite the setback, Inter Miami managed to fight back and secure a share of the spoils against Columbus Crew.
