Davido’s cousin, B-Red, has expressed confidence that Nigeria would experience significant improvement if his father, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, becomes President.
B-Red, who made the remark while speaking about his family and politics, said the Adeleke family had been financially comfortable long before becoming involved in politics.
According to him, the family does not depend on politics for wealth, stressing that their motivation for public service is not financial gain.
“If my dad, Governor Ademola Adeleke, becomes the President of Nigeria, things will improve drastically. We don’t need politics for money; we’ve been rich for a long time,” he said.
However, the singer said he has no interest in pursuing the presidency himself, citing the enormous pressure that comes with the position.
“But I don’t want to be President because the pressure will be too much,” B-Red added.
His comments come amid growing political discussions around Governor Adeleke and his potential ambitions beyond Osun State.
