Osun Governor, who recently secured re-election under the Accord Party, listed among APC campaign coordinators ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has been listed as the Osun State Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
A notice announcing the composition of the PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council listed Adeleke among the coordinators appointed to oversee campaign activities across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the document, the council’s inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, by 11:00 a.m.

The campaign council is expected to coordinate political mobilization and campaign activities in support of Tinubu’s second-term ambition, with state coordinators designated across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Adeleke’s inclusion in the list has attracted attention because of his recent electoral contest against the APC in Osun State and his current affiliation with the Accord Party.
The development comes less than two months after Adeleke secured re-election in the August 15, 2026, Osun State governorship election.
Adeleke, who contested under the Accord Party, defeated the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, to secure another four-year term as governor.
Results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) showed that Adeleke polled 511,067 votes, while Oyebamiji received 444,815 votes, leaving a margin of 66,252 votes between the two candidates.
The victory extended Adeleke’s tenure following his emergence as governor in 2022, when he defeated the incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola, who contested under the APC.
Ahead of the 2026 governorship election, Adeleke left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the Accord Party, under whose platform he subsequently won re-election.
Other Officials Listed in the Campaign Council
The campaign council document also names several prominent political figures to leadership positions.
President Tinubu is listed as chairman, while Vice President Kashim Shettima and former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje are among those named as vice chairmen.
Other officials include Senator Abdulaziz Yari as Director-General, alongside several deputy directors-general responsible for administration, mobilization, logistics, operations, and election planning.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo are also listed as state coordinators.
The council’s structure indicates a nationwide campaign arrangement intended to coordinate political activities ahead of the next presidential election.
