The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, and other chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have arrived in Osogbo, Osun State, for the party’s mega rally ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
The rally is part of the APC’s final mobilisation efforts for its governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of the August 15, 2026 election.
Other senior party leaders and stakeholders are also expected to attend the event as the APC seeks to consolidate support for its candidate across the state.
The mega rally comes as political parties conclude their campaign activities ahead of Saturday’s poll, with heightened political activities across Osun.
