The National Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially commenced its campaign strategy for the August 15 Osun State governorship election, declaring its determination to unseat Governor Ademola Adeleke and return the state to what it described as the path of progress and prosperity.

Chairman of the APC National Campaign Council and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, said the party’s mission goes beyond winning the election, stressing that it is focused on rekindling hope, driving economic growth, and restoring prosperity for the people of Osun State.
Speaking after the council’s inaugural meeting, Uzodimma described the gathering as the beginning of a critical political journey aimed at delivering victory for the APC and its governorship candidate at the polls.
According to him, the APC remains committed to ensuring that its progressive agenda is extended across every state of the federation, insisting that Osun must align with the party’s vision of sustainable development and people-oriented governance.

“Our mission of ensuring victory at the Osun State Governorship Election is a mission to rekindle hope, drive growth, and restore prosperity among the good people of Osun State,” Uzodimma said.
He added that the APC’s mandate of spreading prosperity across Nigeria must be holistic, maintaining that every state should embrace the party’s progressive ideals in the interest of its citizens.
The remarks come as political activities intensify ahead of the August 15 governorship election, with both the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by Governor Ademola Adeleke and the APC stepping up campaigns in what is expected to be a fiercely contested race.
