The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has met with members of the City Boys Movement as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum.

The meeting formed part of ongoing engagements between leaders of the ruling party and various support groups as the APC begins to strengthen its political structures ahead of the next election cycle.
The City Boys Movement is among groups that have expressed support for the APC and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
During the engagement, discussions reportedly centred on party mobilisation, unity and the need to consolidate the gains of the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
The APC leadership has continued to engage stakeholders and support groups across the country as the party seeks to maintain its hold on the Federal Government and expand its political influence.
The meeting also comes amid increasing political realignments, with opposition parties and political groups intensifying consultations ahead of the 2027 presidential and legislative elections.
The APC chairman is expected to continue consultations with party members, support groups and other stakeholders as the party prepares for the forthcoming electoral contest.
With the 2027 elections gradually becoming a major focus of Nigeria’s political discourse, activities such as the meeting are expected to increase as political parties begin to strengthen their grassroots mobilisation and campaign structures.
