Social media personality and activist, VeryDarkMan, has revealed that he stayed away from the wedding celebration of content creators Peller and Jarvis in Lagos because he feared he could be arrested if he entered the state.

Speaking during a live session, the activist claimed that his relationship with the Lagos Police influenced his decision to miss the event.

“Unfortunately, I could not go to Lagos because I have bigger enemies in Lagos, and the Lagos Police and I are not friends. Immediately I enter Lagos, there’s a high chance I might be arrested,” he said.

Despite his absence, VeryDarkMan said he followed the wedding online and commended the organisation of the ceremony.

He disclosed that he had already received Peller’s asoebi for the occasion and expressed delight at seeing the couple celebrate their union.

“I have Peller’s asoebi here, and I’ve been watching the wedding. I love how everything is coordinated, and everyone is happy,” he added.

The activist also spoke fondly of the couple, saying he has genuine affection for both Peller and Jarvis, noting that his occasional criticisms of them come from a place of care.

He concluded by congratulating the newlyweds, wishing them a happy married life, and offering prayers for the child they are expecting.
