President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed security and intelligence agencies to intensify efforts to rescue worshippers abducted in Niger State.

The directive followed the reported abduction of worshippers in the state, with the President ordering security authorities to coordinate their operations and ensure the safe recovery of the victims.
Tinubu stressed the need for security agencies to work together and deploy all necessary resources to secure the release of the abducted citizens.
The President also directed the relevant authorities to sustain efforts to track down the perpetrators and bring those responsible for the abduction to justice.
The development comes amid continued concerns over kidnapping and other security challenges affecting communities in parts of the country.
The Federal Government has repeatedly assured Nigerians that security remains a priority, while urging security agencies to strengthen intelligence gathering and coordinated operations against criminal groups.
Authorities are expected to provide further updates on the rescue operation as efforts to locate and secure the abducted worshippers continue.
