Nigerian businessman Isaac Fayose has criticised Osun State Governor Adeleke Ademola over his public display of support for President Bola Tinubu, questioning the governor’s response to reported deaths linked to an election in the state.

Statement and Accusations
In a statement shared online, Fayose claimed that 29 people died during the Osun election, leaving families grieving for their loved ones.
He accused Adeleke of failing to show sufficient regard for the alleged victims by dancing with Tinubu weeks after the incident.
“Nigerians don’t like hearing the truth, that’s why the country is so bad. Osun people stood by Governor Adeleke, 29 people died during the Osun election. 29 families lost their pikin, their brother or sister,” Fayose said.
He further criticised the governor for dancing with the President, whom he described as an oppressor, and questioned Adeleke’s explanation that he was working with Tinubu because they were both Yoruba.
Fayose also made a personal remark about the governor’s children while challenging the reasoning behind his political alignment.
His comments centred on what he portrayed as a contradiction between the sacrifices allegedly made by Adeleke’s supporters and the governor’s public relationship with Tinubu.
