Former Vice President and 2027 presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, is expected in Osogbo today as the party holds its grand finale campaign rally ahead of the August 15 Osun State governorship election.
Atiku, a former vice president of Nigeria, departed Abuja on Monday morning for Osogbo, where he is scheduled to join the ADC family, supporters and party leaders at the grand finale rally.
The rally is expected to serve as a major mobilisation event for the ADC as the party intensifies its campaign ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
The visit is also expected to draw party supporters from across the state, with ADC leaders using the occasion to rally voters and present the party’s candidate and agenda ahead of the poll.
The August 15 election has generated significant political activities across Osun State, with major political parties stepping up their campaigns in the final days before voting.
Atiku’s presence at the ADC grand finale is expected to further boost the party’s campaign as it makes its final push for support across the state.
