Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, is expected to appear before the Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on September 15, 2026, despite reports circulating online that he has been released.

The development was confirmed by the UK court, which listed the case for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Poco Lee is facing five sexual offence charges, including two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, and two counts of assault by penetration.
The case has attracted widespread attention in Nigeria following reports of his detention in the United Kingdom and subsequent claims on social media that the complainant had withdrawn the case.
However, reports confirming the September 15 hearing indicate that the legal proceedings remain ongoing.
The court has also imposed reporting restrictions to protect the identity of the complainant.
Poco Lee has not been convicted of any offence, and all allegations against him remain unproven pending the outcome of the court proceedings.
His management had previously urged the public to allow the legal process to run its course and cautioned against spreading unverified claims surrounding the case.
The September 15 hearing is expected to determine the next stage of the proceedings.
