Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, was in a celebratory mood on Wednesday as he received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) following his victory in the 2026 governorship election.
Adeleke, who arrived for the presentation in high spirits, was seen singing and dancing as he formally received the certificate from the electoral commission.
The presentation marked an important step in the process of confirming his mandate after the governorship election, in which he secured another term in office.
The governor’s supporters and members of his political team also joined in the celebration, expressing excitement over the outcome of the election.
Adeleke’s victory has further cemented his position as the governor of Osun State, with the certificate serving as INEC’s formal documentation of the electoral outcome.
The governor has since pledged to continue with his administration’s development agenda and work for the people of Osun State.
