A bettor identified as “ayo_folarin” has reportedly staked ₦4.8 million on APC governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji to win the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.

According to the betting platform, the wager could yield a payout of more than ₦17 million if Oyebamiji emerges victorious at the polls.

The development has generated reactions online, particularly amid the growing political activities and intense competition ahead of the Osun governorship election. Political parties in the state have continued to intensify campaigns, with rallies, stakeholder engagements, and strategic mobilization expected to shape voter sentiment in the coming weeks.

The Osun governorship race is widely seen as a closely watched contest, with major parties positioning themselves strongly across local government areas as election day approaches.

The bet, however, does not represent a prediction or guarantee of the election outcome.
