President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Sunday depart Abuja for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom.
The statement said Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the working vacation and join the campaign activities ahead of the January 2027 election.
Onanuga described the trip as part of the President’s annual leave.
The President’s departure comes amid preparations by political parties for the 2027 general elections, with campaign activities expected to intensify in the coming months.
