Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has denied reports that he entered into a political agreement with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to secure victory in the just-concluded governorship election in the state.

Adeleke described the allegation as false, maintaining that his victory was achieved through the support of the people of Osun and the strength of his political organisation.
The governor’s denial followed claims circulating in political circles that his administration had reached an understanding with the ADC as part of efforts to secure victory at the polls.
Adeleke, however, rejected the claim, insisting that the outcome of the election reflected the choice of voters across the state.
The development comes amid continued political reactions to the governorship election and allegations surrounding alliances and strategies adopted by political parties ahead of the poll.
The governor has continued to call for unity and peaceful coexistence among residents following the election.
