President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Chairman of Abdul Samad Rabiu, on the occasion of his 66th birthday, describing him as a key driver of Nigeria’s industrial transformation and economic development.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu commended Rabiu’s contributions to the growth of the nation’s manufacturing sector through his leadership of BUA Group and his philanthropic interventions under ASR Africa.

The President described Rabiu as one of the foremost architects of modern Nigerian industry, noting that his investments in cement, sugar, food processing, and infrastructure have significantly boosted industrialisation, strengthened food security, and created thousands of employment opportunities for Nigerians.

Tinubu also praised the billionaire businessman for his unwavering confidence in Nigeria’s economic potential, saying his continued investments demonstrate a strong belief in the country’s future despite prevailing challenges.

The President prayed for Rabiu’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength as he expands his contributions to national development through business and philanthropy.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement released by the Presidency through Bayo Onanuga.
